NEWFM supporting Parkinson's NSW

Story

I'm one of the 80,000 people in Australia who has Parkinson's disease & I'm asking for your help.

 

I want the scientists to find a cure for this terrible disease.  I don't want to end up in a wheelchair or a nursing home before my time. 

 

Parkinson's NSW needs your help so they can fund research into new treatments for the disease and ultimately find a cure!

 

The money you donate doesn't go towards buying me a new car.  It'll help people with Parkinson's and their families ease the burden of the disease by funding research, free counselling, support groups, Neurological nurses in the community and an infoline.

    Parkinson’s NSW is a for-purpose organisation striving to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s, their carers, families and communities. It is the peak body for the Parkinson’s community of NSW.
     
    It provides essential services including counselling, Support Groups, an InfoLine staffed by Parkinson’s Registered Nurses, community-based Parkinson’s Specialist Nurses, education, NDIS advocacy and fundraising for research. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life of people affected by Parkinson’s, while working towards a cure.
